Sam is 7 years old!!! Wow, that is so weird to say. I can't believe that next year he will be baptized. He had a fun birthday. His grandparents from Idaho came down to celebrate the big day. They spoiled him! He finally got his Nintendo DS With 5 games. He was in GEEK heaven. Sam got a bunch of Star Wars action figures, remote controlled four wheeler, and a Star Wars pop-up book (It is very cool).

Our haunted grave yard........Phil is so Awesome!
Phil has been working on halloween stuff off and on for about a year. The tombstones are the ones that Natalie and Phil made last year. He spent a lot of time making them weather proof. He made the skeleton faces out of foam. Andrea and I helped with the cloth wrapped around them. I think our yard looks awesome. All of our neighbors have told us how spooky it is. We hope to actually get trick-or-treaters this year. Our kids and their friends next door love to play in the (spoooooky) grave yard.
OuR Scary PumPkins!!!
These are some of our pumpkins. The first picture shows the kids' jack-o-lanterns. We let them draw the picture they wanted then Phil and I carved them. We loved Noah's.
Top to Bottom: Sam's, Noah's, Abbie's
Shauntel's (Aren't I Freaking Awesome!!!) The little one has a face too, I should have carved him out a light.
Phil's spooky Jack-O-Lanterns
*We didn't use any patterns to create our jack-o-lanterns this year. That's all freehand, baby!!*
Our trip to the pumpkin patch!
The kids had a lot of fun being able to pick out their own pumpkin. It took Abbie FOREVER!! (She had to find the right one I guess). My sisters Andrea and Lacey were able to come with us. It was Jaylee's and Gaven's first time at a pumpkin patch. We have carved pumkins every weekend since October 1st. Well actually sometime in September. Phil loves Halloween.

Mommy Daughter Date!!
A couple of weeks ago our ward had an old-fashioned Tea Party. It was really cute. They had little sandwiches made with pink bread, cookies, veggies and fruit. The girls had fun. We made scrapbook pages and played games and got this really cute picture taken with my beautiful girls.

Phil was asked to watch the kids in the nursery. Sam and Noah had lots of fun playing with their friends from church. We stayed and helped clean up, Phil (of course) found these moustaches from one of the games we played. Sam and Noah were pretending to be Mario (I'm sure that Mario loves tea parties too). I am so glad we got this picture taken.

Tie-Dye at Auntie Andrea's!!!!
My sisters and I are starting a new tradition. Every year before halloween we get together and make Fall or Halloween stuff. We each choose a craft or something like it. Last year Natalie and Phil made really cool headstones for our front yard. Andrea and I made spider egg sacs that hung from our porch. Well, this year Andrea made ghosts out of cheese cloth and sugar water. We had lots of fun. Abbie made her own she had so much fun. They turned out really cute and will look great with a black light.
My idea came from the Family Fun magazine. We tie-dyed some orange shirts for all the kids. We were going to draw little pumkin faces but we decided that we liked it better without. Andrea, Lacey and I did all 5 shirts and Abbie did hers all by herself. The kids loved it. Well, all except Emma as you can tell from the picture.

Sam's and Abbie's First day of School!!
School Time Again!
Sam is officially a first grader!!! He loves it. He told me, "First grade is way better than kindergarten". He loves going all day because he gets lunch and recess.
It makes me so sad to see her go. I almost cried at least 5 times that day. She wanted to walk in all by herself but I couldn't handle it. She goes in alone now and I still have a hard time with that. She loves it and I love it because she gets to burn off all her extra energy.
Star Wars in Brigham City!!

The Float!!!
Peach Day Parade!!!
We love peach days! The parade is always one of our favorites even though it was about 2 hours 15 minutes long. Phil's whole family was with us. Ben (Phil's youngest bro.) was in the parade. The kids loved his crazy alien costume. I will have to find a picture and post it. Anyway, there were 130 floats and about half way through, Sam saw a Star Wars float. He was so excited he couldn't hardly stand it. All of his favorite characters were on the float. Phil took Sam to the end of the parade so he could get pictures with his best guys! The parade was over for Sam at that point. He is such a GEEK!! He can't help it when he comes from a family of them. (Yes... Phil, Jay and Ben) But I still love you all.

OuR lItTle EmMa!
We love to go to parks and play. Our Favorite in Tremonton is Hansen Park. It is the best place to take beautiful pictures. Here are some that we took of Emma.
Emma is so happy. She loves to swing. As you can see she never leaves her shoes on either. Like mother like daughter I guess.

Swinging at Grandpa and Grandmas
Abigails Preschool Graduation!!!
I can't forget Abbie's graduation. She Loved Ms. Nicole. She is such and awesome teacher! Abbie had a hard time with me teaching her the ABC's and numbers. Ms. Nicole taught her so much. Abbie is now sounding out sounds and can recognize numbers. She is so smart. She is going to love kindergarten so much.
It will be so nice to have 2 in school this fall. Well actually 3 if you count Phil!!!!

Kindergarten Graduation
This picture made me laugh because Abbie looks like she is the oldest by 10 years. These two are best friends and I hope they always will be.
